What is Rankyit?
Rankyit is a consumer web app (PWA) that combines data-driven product rankings, multi-retailer price comparison with full price history, and Ranky, an AI shopping assistant that turns a plain-language question ("a phone for running, around £300") into a shortlist backed by real specs and real prices.

Per-category leaderboards (camera, battery, display, performance, value) built from measured specifications — updated automatically as the catalog grows.
📉 Price history & alerts
Every product tracks its price across multiple retailers over time. Users set alerts and get notified at the real minimum — not at a fake "deal".
🤖 Ranky, the AI assistant
Conversational guidance grounded in our own catalog and live prices, so recommendations are concrete and purchasable.

Owner reviews, discussions per product, and a monthly community vote — moderated, with verified profiles.
The honest discount ✓
Our core editorial stance: a discount is only real if it beats the price actually charged recently. Following the spirit of the EU Omnibus Directive (and the equivalent UK pricing guidance), Rankyit certifies offers against the true 30-day minimum and the historical minimum recorded in our own database — never against an inflated list price.
The catalog today
Product identity is EAN-canonical, prices come from structured feeds (marketplace APIs, affiliate network feeds, official brand stores) and every data point is stored with source and timestamp — that accumulated history is what makes our discount verification possible.
Status & roadmap
Rankyit is currently in invite-only private beta while we accumulate price history ahead of launch. The public launch is planned for the United Kingdom and Spain in 2027. This page is the public presentation of the project; full access is available to partners on request.
How Rankyit is funded
Rankyit is monetized through affiliate partnerships: when a user buys through an outbound link we may earn a commission, at no cost to the buyer. Affiliate links are disclosed in the interface. Rankings and discount verdicts are computed from data and are never influenced by commercial relationships.
